OW2con is one of the key events on the European open source calendar not to be missed. And a unique opportunity for the OW2 community to get together, catch up, exchange ideas, hear about new projects and technologies, and talk with open source industry movers and shakers. For several years the pandemic obliged a virtual event, but this year in-person is most definitely back with an event hosted by Orange at their Innovation Campus in Paris-Châtillon.

A unique event looking at the intersection of web innovation, emerging standards for light app technologies (such as MiniApps), and mobile devices.

The Quick App Initiative is pleased organise a special session focused on mobile and web technologies in the forthcoming OW2con'22 event.

Get insight into emerging web technologies, see how Quick Apps have driven business success in China, discuss with industry luminaries about the future of mobile apps.

23 Jun 2021 — The Quick App Initiative was formally announced at OW2Con'21. This interest group will gather global experts from a wide range of industries and fields to explore new applications in various vertical fields for quick apps, while also fostering technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem.

OW2Con'21 is the annual event organized by OW2. This conference is free of charge and open to anyone and it attracts international experts to discuss about open source software in modern corporate information systems.

During one of the Ow2Con'21 keynotes, the Quick App Initiative was publicly announced.
